Does the slipper fit, Princess?

Last week, we had the pirate birthday cake. This week, we went in a different direction — the Princess Slipper birthday cake. For a young princess’ birthday, we presented her highness with pillow cake, delicately covered in blue fondant. Placed gently on her pillow is a fondant/gumpaste slipper.

Alternate layers of chocolate and vanilla cake are separated by our very popular Cookies & Cream buttercream filling. From the slipper to the tassels adorning the pillow cake, this birthday piece is 100% edible. Of course, with so much cake, we hope the princess also enjoys some healthy exercise… maybe she can dance the night away with her prince, wearing her new slipper.
