We enjoyed meeting so many of you at the Gainesville Wedding Expo this past weekend. More than 500 Bearkery® boxes were handed out to attendees, and our staff truly enjoyed talking to future brides about their wedding cakes. Our decoration theme this expo: classic romanticism meets DIY paper decorations.
The concept of the display featured three cakes: a bride’s cake, a groom’s cake, and an “our” wedding cake. Doilies featuring “Dream Day Cakes” and “Taste the Difference” hung from the ceiling tying the entire display together. We also wanted to showcase a fun, creative atmosphere. From the petit, litte hats worn by our staff to the decorations, we worked to showcase our work as well as our enjoyment of helping to celebrate life’s events.

Attendees were provided a box containing our three most popular items. A piece of wedding cake, an amazing cake truffle, and a yummy mini-cupcake were given to every person who visited our booth.
The Gainesville Wedding Expo provides us, as well as other wedding vendors, the chance to help “plan your wedding in a day.” Although we did take a few orders during the expo (those tablets really make taking payments simple), most of the people we meet schedule a follow-up appointment with us at our Gainesville bakery.
At the bakery, we offer personal cake tasting/wedding cake consultation sessions for brides, grooms, and anyone wishing to celebrate life’s events.
