There’s something elegant about a vintage look. From colors to style, everything old is new again. For this vintage cake, our bakery was requested to recreate a china pattern and produce an elegant fondant cake, with a vintage theme.

Let’s start with the China… everyone has something they love. For our customer, it was a china pattern. Yeni created a fondant china plate and then hand painted (with edible inks) the china pattern.

The cake itself maintained a vintage theme with button frills and paper styled flowers. Of course, instead of paper we used fondant. Must be edible after all. =)
