Star Wars Birthday Cake

May the 4th be with you. =) There’s no better day to post pictures of a Star Wars themed birthday cake than May 4th. Yeni created this cake in our Gainesville bakery to help celebrate a 30th birthday. Our cake shop gets to make a lot of fun cakes… but with Darth Vader, Luke Skywalker, Jango Fett, and Storm Troopers, this cake was a stand out.

This cake featured Luke and Darth fighting it out on the top of the topsy turvy cake.

The majority of the cake was themed in an Empire Strikes Back style, including the birthday boy’s favorite quote, “Most Impressive.”

Yes, we know that Jango Fett wasn’t in Empire Strikes Back — he wasn’t even in any of that “series.” This is where being a cake artist rocks; you get some liberty here and there. Since our birthday boy loves Jango Fett, he gets Jango Fett. =) =)

The bottom tier of the cake featured metallic plating…

But wait, there’s more. =) Now, complete with cheesy music effects, a cake video:

We loved baking and decorating this topsy turvy Star Wars birthday cake. Our Gainesville bakery custom creates cakes for any occasion, and we love when people visit our cake shop to discuss the perfect cake for their celebration. After all, every celebration deserves Dream Day Cakes®. May the 4th be with you. =)
