Circus Roses Wedding Cake

Every time a bride and groom selects Dream Day Cakes to bake their wedding cake, we are truly honored. We know that between the venue, the caterer, the photographer, etc. it can get… well it can become a little overwhelming.

Our job is to try to find the happy place. =) After all, choosing a wedding cake should be fun. The cake should taste great. The design should be something you love.

As we said… it’s an honor.

For this amazing couple’s wedding cake, Yeni worked with the bride and groom to create a 4 tiered wedding cake with sugar Circus Roses and edible ribbon.

For the top tier of this wedding cake, we used a monogram cake topper provided by the couple. The top tier used edible fondant ribbon.

Two cake tiers featured a lovely contrasting fondant ribbon. The other two tiers has a ridge design and showcased the beautiful sugar flowers; or in this case the lovely circus roses.

Circus roses combine red, orange, and yellow for a beautiful color. With many petals, these roses really make a statement.

Of course, we’re a little biased — we believe that sugar flowers make the best flowers. As we like to say, sugar flowers are always in bloom. For these circus roses, cake artist Yeni Monroy worked to make the colors match the other decorations used in the wedding reception.
