For that effect, we used a variety of tools, techniques, and tricks. We don’t know of a crimper that will work for that style.

Beautiful cakes. I wish I were close enough to order some! However, living in Canada kind of makes it hard to get one here.

I don’t know if you answer questions regarding your cakes or not on here, but I thought I’d take a chance. I had seen this picture and can’t figure out how you to the scalloped edge at the top of the cake. I make my own cakes for my children and close family members birthdays and work with fondant all the time for them, but I’ve never seen anything like that when looking for ideas online before. Is it a special crimper I can buy or do you just use the fondant cutter/embosser in a really inventive way?
