B5 Boyz

Camp Crystal Lake (no relation to that movie which shall not be named) is a special place for our groom and his close friends (and groom’s men). These B5 Boyz (named after their cabin) came to the camp dressed in the tuxes (and shorts) ready to enjoy everything that Camp Crystal Lake can offer.

Style Me Pretty

Back in February, we had the wonderful experience of working with an amazing local couple here in the Gainesville, Florida area. These two (very attractive) love birds decided to get hitched at one of the most beautiful venues in North Central Florida, the Santa Fe River Ranch.

Recently the wedding was featured on Style Me Pretty, a “style savvy wedding resource devoted to the modern bride.” 

We contributed two cakes for this wedding, an fun recreation of an Air Jordan and a two tiered wedding cake (with sash) topping more than 1,200 mini-cupcakes.

For this wedding, we also were able to work with great local vendors, such as Adore Events, The Grande Event, Chef Brothers (Denise was amazing as always), and Prange’s Florist.

Eann's Garden Cake

Everything in the garden, much like a real garden, is edible.

Sweet Onions

This vegetable garden featured carrots, tomatoes, onions, lettuce, cabbage, and of course a pumpkin or two. Ok, botanically a tomato is a fruit… but the Supreme Court says it’s a vegetable — so who are we to argue?

The sign clearly let’s you know — this is Eann’s Garden. After all, it’s Eann’s birthday. This garden cake combines Eann’s favorite vegetables into a fantastically fun birthday cake. Complete with monogram and sugar flowers, this cookie cake proudly sat upon one of our custom tiered cupcake stands. The tiers of the stand held mini-cupcakes (a variety of flavors) as well as our amazing red velvet cake truffles.

That’s our made from scratch buttercream sandwiched between two VERY GOOD chocolate chip cookies. We died the buttercream to match the bridal colors.

The garter styled Gator top tier topped the silver and blue Cowboy themed bottom tier. The cheerleader– well even though she was all Cowboy, she didn’t mind hanging out in Gainesville and helping this groom’s cake start an incredible marriage.

We loved working on this hot pink, black, and white wedding cake. Of course, this bride also had a pretty awesome groom’s cake. =) Even though the wedding reception felt it’s share of strong, Gainesville rain, the bride stayed dry, the cake stayed moist, and the celebration rocked the town. =)
